He studied Art-Semiotics at Brown because it was the closest he could get to film. In 2006 he and his freshman roommate started Wistia in a living room. In 2017, rather than sell, the two of them borrowed $17.3 million to buy out their investors and keep the company theirs. He hosts Talking Too Loud, a podcast about brands that are more human than corporate, and he has spent the last year watching AI pull video production back in-house.
He is here because he has the widest view in the room of what video is doing next, and he came to it as a filmmaker first.
